Citizens under quarantine and in lockdown areas are required to refrain from going out, or they may face legal actions for risk of spreading the virus.
People who have travelled to or live in high-risk, medium-risk and lockdown areas should provide their travel history and personal health information to their community, take a nucleic acid test and cooperate with health monitors. Those with a yellow health code should get a nucleic test and report the result on the same day. It is illegal for anyone to offer false personal information or conceal facts concerning the virus.
Citizens having symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste or smell should update their health information in the health code system and seek medical care immediately.
Guangzhou and Foshan will also implement strict prevention and control measures in terms of public transportation, requiring passengers to have their temperatures checked and show health code. Yellow and red health codes holders are not allowed to take public transportation.
It is recommended not to hold mass gathering activities such as large-scale conferences and dinners. Online meetings and food ordering are suggested
