In line with the university schedule, the arrangement of registration and teaching in Autumn 2021 for international students is as follows.
I Registration for int'l students in China
Students in China must register in person (not including those in medium or high risk pandemic areas) within the valid period.Overdue registration may be considered as a waiver of study qualification.
1.Current Undergraduate,Graduate and Language training int'l students
1.1 Registration Time: 9:00-11:30 am, 2:00-4:30 pm, 27 August 2021,Friday
1.2 Registration Place: 1st Floor, No.4 Building, Dongfeng Campus, GDUT
1.3 Needed documents:
a. Copies of valid passport and visa pages
b. Photo receipt
c. Voucher of Tuition payment
d. Registration Certificate of Temporary Residence for Visitors
e. Insurance
f. Health QR code
2. New Undergraduate, Graduate and Language training int'l students of 2021
2.1 Registration Time: 9:00-11:30 am, 2:00-4:30 pm,28 August 2021,Saturday
2.2 Registration Place: 1st Floor, No.4 Building, Dongfeng Campus, GDUT
2.3 Needed documents:
a. Copies of valid passport and visa pages
b. Photo receipt
c. Electronic Admission Letter
d. Registration Certificate of Temporary Residence for Visitors
e. Voucher of Application fee and Tuition payment
f. Two passport-size photos
g. Medical Report
h. Insurance
i. Health QR code
3.Teaching Arrangement
3.1 Undergraduate and Graduate
Class for Current Degree students will start on 30 August 2021, Monday.
3.2 New Degree students of 2021 and all language training int'l students
Class will start on 6 September 2021,Monday.
II Registration for int'l students outside China
Student who cannot return China due to COVID-19 please register by sending email to ieccenter@gdut.edu.cn within the registration period. Your registration email shall be titled “REGISTRATION”, and your name, student ID number, passport number and major should be presented in the email. Your voucher of tuition payment also should be attached in the registration email.

IV Important Notes
1. The university may adjust the arrangements of registration and teaching in 2021 autumn semester according to COVID-19 situation. In case of any adjustment, we will keep you posted on the status.
2. Due to epidemic, there are limits on the number of onspot reception. Please contact us for registration reservation and prepare health QR code etc in advance.
3. Students must register within the valid period. Overdue registration or without tuition payment etc. may be considered as a waiver of study qualification.
4. Due to COVID-19, some students are now abroad and can not return to China.If the university adopts online teaching due to the epidemic prevention and control, all int'l students in China and abroad must accept to attend the online classes.
5. During the epidemic, int'l students in China must strictly obey to the COVID-19 prevention and control measures taken by local governments and GDUT. Any violation against it, he/she will be given disciplinary punishment ranging from warning to expulsion, depending on the severity of case.
6. In case of any inconsistency occurs, the Chinese version of notice shall prevail. IEC reserves the right of final interpretation.
