The Guangdong Province Government has established the “Guangdong Government Outstanding Student Scholarship”. This award is offered to those international degree students with excellent performance. The arrangement of 2021 Scholarship application for GDUT int'l students is notified as follows:
I Applicants
1. Full-time current undergraduate and graduate international students at GDUT, OR international student applicants for degree study at GDUT.
2. International applicants with valid passport and friendly to China, meet the relevant requirements studying in China.
II Application Qualifications
1. For Registered Current Undergraduate and Graduate International Students
Aged under 40-year-old, abide by the laws of the Chinese government and the regulations of GDUT. Well conducted and performance, decent and healthy. Pay tuition fee and lodging expenses on time, without arrearages records. Pass all subjects without re-take courses records in 2020-2021 academic year. Have not obtained any other scholarships in 2020-2021 academic year. Priority will be given to those who have made outstanding contributions to the shcool or GDUT.
2. For New International Students
Bachelor Degree Scholarship applicants should be aged under 30-year-old, Master Degree Scholarship aged under 35 and PhD Degree Scholarship aged under 40, and with clear and detailed program study plan. Well conducted and performance, decent and healthy. Have not awarded any Chinese Government or GDUT scholarship.
III Scholarship Types
1. For Current International Students
Bachelor Degree Student: RMB10000/person.
Master Degree Student: RMB20000/person.
Doctoral Degree Student: RMB30000/person.
2. For New International Students
Bachelor Degree Student: RMB10000/person.
Master Degree Student: RMB20000/person.
Doctoral Degree Student: RMB30000/person.
IV Application Procedures
1. Required Documents
A.For Registered Current International Students
①GD Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Application Form ( for current int’l students).
②Transcript of 2020-2021 Academic Year (Original document from Academic Programs Division or Graduate School of GDUT with official stamp).
③Photo Copy of Valid Passport Page (including the visa pages).
④Personal Statement.300-500 words with 3-5 photos.
⑤If any, other Supporting Materials, HSK certificate, certificate of awards, published papers, etc..
B.For New International Students
①GD Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Application Form (for new int’l students).
②Photo Copy of Valid Passport Page.
③Two Recommendation Letters from the high school’s principal and a teacher should be provided if applying for Undergraduate Programs; At least two professors or associate professors' Recommendation Letters should be provided if applying for Master or Doctor Degree study.
④Official Academic transcripts and graduation certificate from previous school.
⑤Personal statement, 300-500 words with 3-5 photos.
Note: New Students should register on schedule first. Once application materials are verified, they can complete the scholarship application form.Any fraud or false documents will lead to corresponding punishments.

Send the completed“Scholarship Application Form”with the other required documents mentioned above to ivy_59@qq.com before 16 July 2021 (Friday). Identification electronic photo is required to be pasted in the electronic form. Failure to submit the documents before the deadline or incomplete documents will be regarded as declining the opportunity.
C.Evaluation and recommendation by GDUT.
D.Approval by Department of Education of Guangdong Province.
E.IEC announces the list of international students winning the scholarship.
