According to the NIA policy, automatic 60-day visa extension during the epidemic is about to expire recently. In order to provide visa services for international students in an orderly manner, we hereby inform you of the following requirements:

I Applicants

At present, the qualified applicants are the international students of our university in Guangzhou. International students who are in China but outside of Guangzhou and need to apply for visa or extension of residence permit must provide valid Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors of Guangzhou. The visa arrangement for the international students who are outside of China will be announced in later notice.

II Application Requirement

1.According to the principle of transacting in batches, please prepare the Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors, relevant payment vouchers and other visa application materials in advance. Incomplete materials cases need to be re-prepared and will be handled later.

First batch: the complete materials should be submitted to the designated mailbox before May 5, 2020.

Second batch: the complete materials should be submitted to the designated mailbox before May 12, 2020.

Subsequent batches would be arranged according to the application submission.

2.Materials required for application

1）Clear picture of passport information page

2）Clear picture of visa information page

3）Recent personal photo (for new students) and the picture of photo receipt.The receipt should be within the valid period and receipt No. should be clear;

4）Relevant payment vouchers (including but not limited to tuition fee and insurance)；

5）Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors

IV Detailed Arrangement

1.First time to Apply for Registration Form of Temporary Residence For Visitors (For New Students)

After submitting visa application materials such as Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors and relevant payment vouchers, please contact the International Student Affairs Office to make an appointment. The new students should go to the related immigration department according to the appointment time in person.

2.Residence permit extension for senior students

The extension of the residence permit will be handled online in batches by immigration department. Students do not need to leave the house. After confirming the payment of tuition fees and other related fees and submitting relevant materials, the students who pass the application materials verification will be arranged to have their passports collected and distributed in batches by couriers.

3.Charge of Application

The insurance premium is RMB 20 for each passport. The two-way express fee is RMB 40 for 5 passports. If there are less than 5 passports, the express charge would still be counted as 5 passports. Students could pay the visa application fee and express charge by WeChat or Alipay when the express comes to pick up the passports.

4.For any unmentioned visa matters or special issues, please contact the International Student Affairs Office or the head teachers.

V Others

1.All the courses continue to be delivered online during the epidemic.

For Degree Students:Teaching schedule continues as planned.

For Language Students:

The on-line free course started on March 10 and will be end on May 8,2020. From now on,all the applicants will be streamed into new class according to their Chinese Language proficiency.

Theonline paid courses will from May 13 to July 27,2020 and the placement of each class will be given out based on application time. Tuition Fee for online Chinese Language Training is RMB 4600.

3.The school will implement the campus closed-off management continually. All the students are NOT allowed to return to school without official permission.
