3. IEC

The International Education Center of GDUT is responsible for the enrollment, education and management of international students and the promotion of Chinese language training and degree programs.GDUT provides the international students with different types of programs including Degree and Language programs.Over 500 international students from 60 countries studying at GDUT in 2019.

III Application

1. Application Time

April 30 to July 16, 2020

2. Application Prerequisites

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, with valid passport, have the corresponding educational background. The applicants under the age of 18 (by Date of the year of admission) shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China. Applicants should abide by the laws and decrees of the Chinese government and related rules of university, and will not participate in any activities in China which are inappropriate to the capacity as a student.

3. Online Application

Visit IEC official website, click "Online Application" then proceed with the application, or visit https://apply.gdut.edu.cn/ directly and continue with a guideline. Then complete the registration and log in the system to start application. For best experience, Google Chrome, 360 and Firefox Web Browser are recommended.

4. Apply through Email

Visit http://iec.gdut.edu.cn/ to download Application Form for International Students, then fill in the form as required and email it with other necessary materials to admission@gdut.edu.cn, or submit to International Education Center in person.

4. Application Submission

Paper edition and electronic version are both necessary, paper edition must be submitted to International Student Affairs Office and electronic version sent to admission@gdut.edu.cn within the stipulated time. Identification electronic photo is required to be pasted in the electronic form. Applications submitted after the deadline will be regarded invalid.Applications to scholarship scheme will not affect any ongoing enrollment processes.

V On-campus Accommodation

Long-term accommodation (more than 3 months) should pay the accommodation fee for one semester or the entire academic year. Short-term students (less than 3 months) should pay the accommodation fee for one month at one time.

Campus WiFi Access

Wireless access to the campus network and Internet is provided by GDUT WiFi access points and is available in all centrally-administered classrooms, public areas in the campus, department offices. The University staffs and students including international students can connect to the campus WiFi service via the SSID“gdut”.

Registration Fee: RMB30/Person

WiFi Service Fee: RMB30/Month,enjoy unlimited access of WiFi service.

Note: Deposit for accommodation is RMB1500/person which will be refunded when check-out. Accommodation fees may be adjusted. Bills of Campus Wi-Fi service, water and electricity are not included, related charges are subject to change.
