International Exchanges College Visits International Students Staying on Campus During Winter Vacation

To ensure the safety and well-being of international students staying on campus during the winter break, and to extend warm festive greetings, the International Exchanges College conducted a visit and safety inspection at the No.8 international student dormitory on Dongfeng Road Campus on January 27th. The delegation was led by Party Committee Secretary Huang Xincheng, Interim Dean Liu Yuying, and Vice Dean Peng Guocun, accompanied by all staff from the International Student Affairs Office. They interacted with more than 50 international students, delivering New Year wishes.

During the dormitory visit, the college leaders engaged in cordial conversations with the students and inquiring about their holiday arrangements and study plans. They distributed the “Winter Break Stay-On-Campus Notice,” kindly reminding the students to abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as university rules during the holiday, and to enhance their safety awareness. The team also inspected shared facilities like the laundry room and kitchen, promptly identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.

The international students expressed their gratitude for the college’s care and greetings. They shared their excitement about experiencing traditional Chinese culture during the Spring Festival in China and pledged to maintain a civilized and safe stay on campus.
