On October 11, a delegation from Guangzhou Maritime University's International Exchange College, led by Party Committee Secretary Chen Weiwei and Dean Li Hong, paid a fact-finding visit to IEC.

IEC's Party Committee Secretary Huang Xincheng welcomed the guests and outlined the development of IEC. Interim Dean Liu Yuying and Vice Dean Peng Guocun shared insights on international student cultivation, program development, recruitment, and management.

The delegation expressed appreciation for the insights and introduced their college's profile and development priorities. Both sides held in-depth discussions on teaching management, faculty development, student recruitment, daily administration, and emergency response protocols.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured international student administrative areas and educational facilities.The exchange provided both colleges an opportunity to gain fresh perspectives and refine their approaches. They agreed to strengthen future collaboration in supporting the "Study in China" initiative.
