The 2024 Understanding China Conference was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, from December 2 to 4. This year, the conference hosted over 600 guests from both China and abroad, setting a new historical record and underscoring the growing global attention on China's growing role.

RAIMONDI JUNIOR ANTONIO, Brazilian undergraduate and other 14 international students attended Thematic Forums 'Understanding China in Sports' on December 2, Parallel Sessions 'Common Values of Humanity for Greater Mutual Learning Among Civilizations' and 'Global South Cooperation-New Prospects and New Aspirations' on December 4, 2024.

UCC provided a new window and platform for international students to have a more in-depth and all-round understanding of Chinese modernization, and injected new impetus into promoting the development of world exchanges. Furthermore, int'l students shared their understanding of China's reform and expressed that be a member of this conference was an incredibly helpful experience.
