On 2nd July, the Farewell Symposium for graduate class of 2024 was hold in Meeting Hall at Dongfeng campus. Faculties of IEC and graduate students from 13 countries attended the party. Deputy dean PENG Guocun presided over the symposium.
The opening video ‘To Class of 2024’ recording precious moments of graduates in GDUT was played. Secretary of the CPC International Exchange College Committee HUANG Xincheng expressing his well-wishes and expectations for the students. ‘Dear graduates, today you are about to embark on a new journey in life. On this challenging time, only through unity, diligence, reality and innovation can you steadfastly pursue lofty life goals,’ he said. Then faculty representatives conveyed their enthusiastic congratulations to all students. As the valedictorian, KARIM SALMA（林飒） expressed her gratitude to IEC and other students, aimed to contribute to the development of GDUT with IEC.
During the symposium, 17 graduates were awarded bachelor degrees, KARIM SALMA（林飒）and LWENY KABEY HERITIER SANG A BILOL（阿里提）were conferred Alumni Ambassadors of IEC.
