一、活动背景 Background

“看中国·外国青年影像计划”由北京师范大学会林文化基金、中国文化国际传播研究院主办，旨在通过外国青年的独特视角，展现中国的质朴与繁华、古老与时尚，从而提升中国文化的国际影响力，加强中外青年之间的跨文化沟通、交流与合作。

Looking China Youth Film Project is hosted by Huilin Foundation and the AICCC of Beijing Normal University. The aim of the project is to reveal the simplicity and prosperity, antiquity and modernity of China from the unique perspective of foreign youth, and bring Chinese culture onto the global stage, fostering of cross-cultural communication and cooperation between the younger generation from China and abroad.

2022年—2024年，“看中国·广东行”作品获得20余项奖项，其中，我校也门籍学生MOOHIALDIN BA HABIB ALI ISMAIL（碧海）和肇庆学院学生林梓佳、李旻蓁等共同创作的影片《竹茗》在2023年第五届“第三只眼看中国”国际短视频大赛中脱颖而出，荣获优秀作品奖。

From 2022 to 2024, "Looking China·Youth Film Project·Zhaoqing, Guangdong" has more than 20 short documentary films getting awards, including the film named "A Brew of Bamboo" which joint produced by MOOHIALDIN BA HABIB ALI ISMAIL(Undergraduate of IEC)，Lin Zijia (Undergraduate of Zhaoqing University）and Li Minzhen (Undergraduate of Zhaoqing University) won the Outstanding Award at The 5^th "My China Story" International Short Video Competition in 2023.

无数的外国青年在中方制片人的协助下，完成自己的纪录短片，参加国内外展映。“看中国”活动不仅在中央电视台、北京电视台、北京人民广播电台等主流媒体进行专题性播出，还在新华社、《人民日报》、《光明日报》、中央电视台、环球网、凤凰网等300多家中外主流媒体持续推出报道，同时在Meta （Facebook）和Youtube等海外社交媒体上持续传播。

Numerous international youths have created documentary films assisted by Chinese producers. The program is not only broadcasted on China Central Television, Beijing TV, Beijing People's Radio, but also won extensive attention through continued exposure by Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Beijing Daily, HuanQiu.com, Sohu.com, Ifeng.com, etc. The films have also been wide spread on Meta (Facebook), Youtube and other overseas social media, generating significant influence.

2024年“看中国”的主题为“美丽中国：美行·美味·美景”，展现当代中国之大美，在美言美行中体会中华风骨，在美味佳肴中感受文化底蕴，在大美山河中领悟美丽中国。

2024 "Looking China Youth Film Project" with the theme "Beautiful Walks · Delicious · Beautiful scenery,"through narrating life attitudes while absorbing strengths from Chinese culture - all closely centered around food delicacies and beautiful sceneries in China.

2024年10月，“看中国·外国青年影像计划·广东行（肇庆）”项目已正式启动，本次活动由肇庆学院承办，广东工业大学国际交流学院协办，现正式招募外国青年导演志愿者。

In October 2024, the "Looking China·Youth Film Project in Zhaoqing" was officially launched.This activity was co-sponsored by Zhaoqing University, and co-ordinated by International Exchange College of Guangdong University of Technology. Now, foreign youth directors and Chinese volunteers are officially recruited.

二、活动主题：美丽中国：美行·美味·美景

Theme: Beautiful China:Beautiful Walks · Delicious · Beautiful scenery

三、活动概述：招募、遴选5位在华外国青年，担任导演，在中方制片人协助下，体验中国文化，围绕年度主题拍摄完成10分钟纪录短片。

Introduction: We will select 5 international students who are in China to direct films that depict Chinese culture and life. Each directors will be given a subjects as a source of inspiration and a Chinese producer will provide film-making guidance.The length should be 10 minutes for one documentary film.

五、招募启动 Recruitment

1、招募对象: 我院国际学生

Subjects: International students of IEC

2、要求：担任导演，负责短片创意。有拍摄、剪辑经验者优先。

Requirements: The candidates will be responsible for idea pitching and directing. A candidate who can also shoot and edit will be prioritized.

在2024年11月1日（星期五）之前，将电子版报名表发送至ieccenter@gdut.edu.cn。

The Applicant should send the completed "Application Form" to ieccenter@gdut.edu.cn before 1 November 2024 (Friday).
