GDUT numbers one more discipline ranking top 1% in the world

GDUT has ONE more discipline ranking top 1% in the World ESI, hitting a record high in terms of total number of disciplines ranking top 1% in the world and ESI overall ranking.According to the latest updates by the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database released on 11 July 2019, discipline of Environmental Science/Ecology of Guangdong University of Technology has been newly selected into the top 1% of ESI global rankings for the first time.

Rankings demonstrate how the standard of our research and teaching measures up against the best universities in China and around the world. Our rankings reflect our consistent track record of excellence.

Up to now, the number of GDUT's disciplines ranking top 1% in the world has increased to 5,including Engineering,Materials Science, Computer Science, Chemistry,Environmental Science/Ecology. And GDUT has set a record high,reaching 110th nationwide in terms of overall US News ranking, reaching 53rd nationwide and 363rd worldwide in terms of engineering US News ranking 2019.
