I Qualification

The applicant is expected to study hard and will observe the laws and decrees of the Chinese government and the regulations of Guangdong University of Technology, and will not participate in any activities in China which are inappropriate to the capacity as a student.

The applicant should have a high school diploma or the equivalent educational background of a high school diploma.

The applicants under the age of 18 (by Date of the year of admission) shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China. Click following to download the Procedure of Guardian Notarization Documents for the Applicant under the Age of 18.

The applicant should have a good command of English and have the ability to take courses in English. All the applicants should pass the English Level Test at the beginning of the first semester at Guangdong University of Technology.

II Application Procedures and Required Documents

Step 1: Prepare Documents

a. Application Form for International Students(For Degree Study)

b. Copy of the passport pages with personal information (Ordinary Passport)

c. Highest Education Diploma (Notarized photocopy or original one) or Certificate of expected graduation date from the high school studying currently

d. Notarized Transcripts

e. Photocopy of Foreigner Medical Checkup Report and Blood Examination Report.

f. The results of TOEFL, IELTS, or English Proficiency Certificate for the applicant whose educational language is not English.

g. Certificate from the financial guarantor of the applicant and bank statement.

The language of documents should be in English or Chinese,or attached with translations in English or Chinese.

Step 2: Submit Documents

Mail all the required documents to International Education Center.

A.Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship

Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship should be applied through the IEC.Please visit IEC website to follow the latest notices.

B.GDUT Scholarship for International Students

Since 2017, GDUT has established Scholarship for International Students with good study attitude and excellent academic performance. The scholarships include tuition waivers of different amounts. Please fill out Application Form for International Students Scholarship of GDUT and submit together with other application documents.
