It has recently come to the attention of the University that certain institutions have forged admission letters of Guangdong University of Technology for the recruitment of international students. To safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the University and prevent international students from being defrauded, this statement is hereby issued as follows:

I. The University has never authorized any institution or individual to conduct proxy international student recruitment. Furthermore, the University has never authorized any institution or individual to collect any fees on its behalf, including application, tuition and accommodation fees. All payments shall be transferred directly to the designated official corporate bank account.

II. The counterfeit activities involving the unauthorized use of the university's name constitute suspected fraud and related criminal offenses. Relevant responsible institutions and individuals must immediately cease their illegal activities. The University reserves the right to pursue their legal liabilities against these responsible parties.

III. International students are advised to exercise heightened vigilance regarding any received admission materials and information. It is imperative to carefully verify their authenticity to remain vigilant against fraud and prevent deception.
