All International Students,

Following intensive construction and preparation, International Student Apartment No.8 Apartment Building on the Dongfeng Road Campus is scheduled to be opened soon. The relevant arrangements are hereby notified as follows.

I. Facilities and Fees

ⅰ.Overview

International Student Apartment No.8 Apartment Building (hereinafter referred to as "the Apartment") is located in the North District of the Dongfeng Road Campus. Floors 2 to 9 are designated as student residences. Each floor contains 11 rooms: 1 single room and 10 double rooms. The apartments are equipped with beds, desks, chairs, wardrobes, air conditioners, and water heaters. Each floor has a shared laundry room and kitchen, equipped with washing machines, dryers, microwaves, and other appliances.

ⅱ.Fee

All fees are in Chinese Yuan RMB.

Accommodation deposit: RMB 1,500/person. Refundable upon check-out if no damage is caused to the facilities.

Accommodation fees do NOT include: Campus Wi-Fi, bedding, water, electricity, etc.

1.Single Room: RMB 10,800/6 months; RMB 21,600/12 months

2.Double Room: RMB 6,600/6 months; RMB 13,200/12 months

II. Opening Process

ⅰ.Indoor Environmental Hazardous Material Inspection

Date: April 8–18, 2025

ⅱ. Pre-Application for Accommodation

Application Period:

1.Current students who previously resided in No.8 Apartment Building: April 14–17, 2025 (9:00–11:30 AM, 2:00–4:30 PM)

2.Other students: April 18–24, 2025 (9:00–11:30 AM; 2:00–4:30 PM)

Room assignments are finalized upon check-in, and specific floors or rooms cannot be selected to ensure fair allocation.

3.Required Documents

(1) Original passport and copy of visa page.

(2) Valid international student ID.

(3) Completed On-Campus Accommodation Registration Form (including Accommodation Guidelines; check attachment).

4.Application Location: Room 721, 7th Floor, Library Building, Dongfeng Road Campus.

ⅲ.Check-In

1.Check-In Period: April 27–29, 2025 (9:30–11:00 AM; 2:30–4:00 PM)

2.Location:Property Supervision Office of the General Affairs Division (Room 111, 1st Floor, No.8 Apartment Building, North District Living Area, Dongfeng Road Campus).

III. Important Notes

ⅰ.Comply with Chinese laws and regulations as well as rules and disciplinary codes of university.

ⅱ.Bedding items must be self-provided.

Prohibited:

Unauthorized room swaps or subletting of beds is strictly prohibited; The entry of high-power electrical appliances, items that pose threats to personal and property safety (including but not limited to flammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive, and chemically hazardous materials), as well as controlled weapons and illegal substances such as firearms, ammunition, crossbows, daggers into student dormitories is expressly forbidden.

ⅲ.Priority will be given to:

1.Students who has paid accommodation fees for 3 months or more upfront.

2.Current residents who previously resided in No.8 Apartment Building.

3.Students with good attendance records.

ⅳ.Full payment of accommodation fees is required prior to check-in. Failure to pay fees (including utilities) for over 1 month will result in cancellation of on-campus housing and recovery of outstanding charges.

ⅴ.Check-Out

International students shall bear the costs of repairs or provide full compensation for any damage to/loss of room facilities, equipment, or furnishings discovered during check-out. Check-out procedures will only be processed following successful inspection. Unauthorized withdrawal from on-campus housing will result in forfeiture of both security deposits and unused accommodation fees.
