The 2023 Sports Meeting of GDUT will be held in HEMC Campus at 3 November 2023 and it will last for 2 days. For strengthening our students' health and making their university life more colorful, we strongly suggest our students to participate in this coming sports event actively.
I Time and Venue
Time：3rd to 4th of November 2023 (Friday and Saturday)
Venue: Center Stadium, Higher Education Mega Center Campus,Guangdong University of Technology
II Application Time
12 October 2023 (Thursday) to 19 October 2023 (Thursday)
III Applicants
All registered international students of GDUT.
IV Application Methods
Please scan below QR code to fill in your personal information and submit it on time. Application Deadline: 12pm, 19 October 2023 (Thursday). Overdue application will not be accepted.
V Events
1. Track and field sports
（1）男子组：100 米、200 米、400 米、800 米、1500 米、5000 米、跳高、跳远、铅球、实心球、立定跳远、4×100 米接力、4×400 米接力。
Men's group: Running (100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters), High jump, Long jump, Shot put, Solid ball, Standing long jump, 4×100 meters relay, 4×400 meters relay.
（2）女子组：100 米、200 米、400 米、800 米、1500 米、3000 米、跳高、跳远、铅球、实心球、立定跳远、4×100 米接力、4×400 米接力。
Women's group:Running (100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters), High jump, Long jump, Shot put, Solid ball, Standing long jump, 4×100 meters relay, 4×400 meters relay.
(3) 混合组：4×100 米接力（2男2女）

（1）篮球运球接力（5男5女）Basketball dribble Relay (5 men and 5 women)
（2）足球运球绕杆接力（8男2女）Football dribble Pole Relay (8 men and 2 women)
（3）排球垫、传球接力（4男2女）Volleyball mat, passing relay (4 men and 2 women)
（4）团体引体向上（6男）Group Pull-ups (6 men)
（5）集体拔河（15男5女）Collective tug-of-war (15 men and 5 women)
（6）集体跳绳（6男6女）Group skipping (6 men and 6 women)
3. Jogging

The Fifteenth Sunshine Running Event of Guangdong University of Technology
时间：11月3日上午10:00（运动会开幕式结束）
Time: November 3, 10:00 a.m. (end of Sports meeting Opening Ceremony)
地点：大学城校区中心田径场
Center Stadium, Higher Education Mega Center Campus,Guangdong University of Technology
路线：4公里健身跑（环大学城教学区）
Route: 4-kilometer Jogging (around the university teaching area of Higher Education Mega Center Campus)
VI Rules
1. 田径类各比赛项目每个单位限报 4人，每人限报 2 项（接力除外）。
Track and field events are limited to 4 entries per college and 2 entries per person.（Except the running relay）
2. 田径接力项目各单位限报一队，每人限报 1 项（接力队员必须统一服装，否则不予比赛）。
Track and field relay events are limited to one team per college and one event per person.
3. 田径接力项目和群体项目允许更换受伤的队员。
Relay and group events allow replacement of injured team members.
4. 男子、女子100米，采用预、决赛两个赛次；其它田径项目一个赛次，根据成绩判定名次。Men's and women's 100 meters are divided into preliminaries and finals; Other track and field events only have one final competition.
5. 每名运动员不能兼报田径项目类和团体项目类。
Each student cannot sign up for both a track and field event and a group event.
6.参加比赛的运动员须身体健康状况良好，没有任何不适或疾病（包括先天性心脏病、高血压、脑血管疾病、心肌炎、冠状动脉病、严重心率不齐、糖尿病、以及其它不适合激烈运动的疾病）。运动员报名参赛则将视为自动确认个人健康状况良好。
Athletes participating in the competition must be in good fitness and without any discomfort or illness.The registration of an athlete for participation will be considered as an automatic confirmation that the athlete is in a good health.
7. 比赛规则按国家体育总局审定的最新田径竞赛规则执行。
The competition rules shall be implemented in accordance with the latest track and field competition rules approved by the General Administration of Sport of China.
VII Awarding
1. 单项名次
各单项录取前八名，给予奖励。
The top 8 in each events will be awarded.
2. 团体总分及录取名次
团体总分：各单位在各单项上的得分的总和。团体总分取前八名给予奖励。
The top 8 groups in each events will be awarded.
VIII Others
1. 所有报名参赛的运动员必须购买保险。All registered athletes must be insuranced.
2. 参加1500米、3000米、5000米的运动员必须进行心电图检查（免费、统一安排时间）近来已经检查过的，须提交结果至东风路校区国际交流学院国际学生事务办公室（图书馆大楼7楼718室）。联系电话：37626172。
*具体检查地点等待校医院安排。
Athletes participating in 1500m, 3000m and 5000m must have an ECG test (free of charge and on a uniform schedule).Those who have been examined recently could submit the result to International Students Affairs Office of IEC (Room 718, Library Building, Dongfeng Road Campus). Tel.:37626172
