Dear Intl students,
In line with the university schedule, the arrangement of 2021 spring semester registration for intl students is as follows.
I Registration for intl students in China
Students in China must register in person (not including those in medium or high risk pandemic areas) within the valid period.Overdue registration may be considered as a waiver of study qualification.
1. For Graduate students
Registration time: 9:00-11:30 am, 2:00-4:30 pm, February 26-28, 2021
Registration place: 1st floor, No.4 Building, Dongfeng Campus, GDUT
2. For Undergraduate students
Registration Time: 9:00-11:30am, 2:00-4:30pm, February 27-28, 2021
Registration place: 1st floor, No.4 Building, Dongfeng Campus, GDUT
3. For Chinese Language Training Students
Registration Time: 9:00-11:30 am, 2:00-5:00 pm, March 1, 2021
Registration place: 1st floor, No.4 Building, Dongfeng Campus, GDUT
4. Required documents for Registration
a. Valid passport and visa
b. Voucher of Tuition payment, Accommodation fee
c. Registration Certificate of Temporary Residence for Visitors
d. Insurance
Class for degree students will start on Monday 1 March 2021.
Class for language students will start on Monday 8 March 2021.
II Registration for intl students outside China
Student who cannot return China due to COVID-19 please register by sending email to ieccenter@gdut.edu.cn within the registration period. Your registration email shall be titled “REGISTRATION”, and your name, student ID number, passport number and major should be presented in the email. Your voucher of tuition payment also should be attached in the registration email.

IV Important Notes
1. The university may adjust the arrangements of registration and teaching in 2021 spring semester according to COVID-19 situation. In case of any adjustment, we will keep you posted on the status.
2. Due to epidemic, there are limits on the number of onspot reception. Please contact us for registration reservation and prepare health QR code etc in advance.
3. Students must register within the valid period. Overdue registration or without tuition payment etc. may be considered as a waiver of study qualification.
4. Due to COVID-19, some students are now abroad and can not return to China.If the university adopts online teaching due to the epidemic prevention and control, all intl students in China and abroad must accept to attend the online classes.
5. During the epidemic, intl students in China must strictly obey to the COVID-19 prevention and control measures taken by local governments and GDUT. Any violation against it, he/she will be given disciplinary punishment ranging from warning to expulsion, depending on the severity of case.
6. In case of any inconsistency occurs, the Chinese version of notice shall prevail. IEC reserves the right of final interpretation.
