Call for Intl Student Volunteer

Community service is an important component of international students education at GDUT. We encourage all the intl students to volunteer for at least one community activity before they graduate.

A new community service program co-organized by EEIAB and IEC now is calling for international student volunteers who stay in Guangzhou to provide support to our local community.

1. How to Apply

Application is open to all international students interested in volunteer and community service activities. International student applicants please provide us the Copy of your passport pages with personal information and your contact information (Cellphone No.), send it to International Student Affairs Office at ieccenter@gdut.edu.cn titled "Volunteer".

•Application Deadline: 30 July 2020

2. Work as a Student Volunteer

• Work no more than 10 hours per week.

• You agree to show up on time to tasks.

3. Benefits

In return we provide student volunteers appropriate benefits, such as free lunch and break food will be provided if needed. Volunteering at local community provides an excellent opportunity for networking with other foreign friends in Guangzhou. Furthermore, the volunteers also get insight into the Chinese local government services and gather valuable working experience.
