On 27 June, Vice President Du Chengming International visited IEC to review international student programs, accompanied by Huang Rong, Director of International Office. College leadership and department heads attended the meeting chaired by Secretary of the CPC IEC Committee Huang Xincheng, who presented progress reports on international education. Interim Dean Liu Yuying detailed Chinese Language undergraduate programs and exchange initiatives, while Vice Dean Peng Guocun reported on enrollment expansion and student housing management. Director Huang Rong provided operational guidance aligned with national education policies.  

Du Chengming acknowledged IEC's achievements and urged further efforts to enhance international education quality. He emphasized: 1. Expanding enrollment through alumni networks and partner institutions.2.Upgrading educational facilities.3.Implementing compliance standards and empowering the "Study at GDUT" brand for global recognition.  

Following the meeting, Du Chengming extended graduation wishes to international students and joined their commencement photo session.
