The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022 was released on 28 April 2022, which is the fourth edition and the overall ranking includes 1,542 universities from 110 countries or regions. THE Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

GDUT has been rated in this Rankings for 3 years, which participated in the 4 of these 17 SDGs indicators in year 2022.They are respectively: SDG9 Industry, Innovation and infrastructure, SDG11 Sustainable cities and communities, SDG13 Climate action as well as SDG17 Partnerships for the goals.

For SDG9: GUDT ranks 4th among Mainland China and 52th worldwide.
