On March 12, Professor Qiu Xueqing,the new President of Guangdong University of Technology,visited IEC and met with the administration, accompanied by Vice President International professor Luan Tiangang and Secretary of the University Administration Party Committee Ms Shao Jizhen. Director of IEC, Mr Huang Xincheng presided over the meeting.

During the meeting, Huang Xincheng warmly introduced the history and development of IEC, especially the international students education in the year of 2019 and the development strategy of IEC.

President Qiu Xueqing recognized and highly praised IEC for the fruitful achievements of international student education in 2019. He stressed the importance of international student education and development strategy,saying that IEC can play a more active role in pushing forward the international student education.
