2020年度广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金通知

Notice on Application for 2020 GD Government Scholarship for Intl Students

In order to promote the internalization of Guangdong higher education, advancing the development of intl students' management, the government decided to set up scholarship for intl students studying in Guangdong. The relevant requirements of application are hereby notified as follows.

为进一步推进我省高等教育国际化，吸引和鼓励更多优秀国际学生来广东学习，广东省政府设立了“广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金”。根据《广东省教育厅关于做好2020年度省政府来粤留学生奖学金初评和推荐工作的通知》，现将我校2020年度来粤留学生奖学金初评推荐安排通知如下：

一、申请对象 Applicants

1、我校在读的全日制本科、硕士和博士研究生国际学生以及有意报读我校本科、硕士和博士的国际学生新生。Full-time current international students for Bachelor, Master or PhD degree study at GDUT, OR international student applicants for degree study at GDUT.

2、申请人须拥有外国国籍，持有有效外国护照并符合在华留学的相关要求，对华友好、身体健康。International applicants with valid passport and friendly to China, meet the relevant requirements studying in China.

二、申请要求 Application Requirements

（一）在读国际学生 For Current Intl Students

1、40周岁以下，在校期间遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规。

2、勤奋好学，成绩、出勤记录良好，品行端正。

3、未获其他类别中国政府或我校奖学金。

4、截至申请日期，未有欠缴学校学费、住宿费等，在读生没有不及格科目。

Aged under 40-year-old, abide by the laws of the Chinese government and the regulations of GDUT. Well conducted and performance, decent and healthy. Haven't awarded any Chinese Government or GDUT scholarship.Pay tuition fee and lodging expenses on time,without arrearages records. Pass all subjects without re-take courses records in the 2019-2020 academic year.

（二）新招收国际学生 For New International Students (Batch 2020)

1、本科生30周岁以下；硕士生35周岁以下，博士生40周岁以下。申请人来我校学习目的明确，并制定清晰的学习计划。

2、品行端正、勤奋好学。

3、未获其他类别中国政府或我校奖学金。

Bachelor Degree Scholarship should be aged under 30-year-old, Master Degree Scholarship aged under 35-year-old, PhD Degree Scholarship aged under 40-year-old, with clear and detailed program study plan. Well conducted and performance, decent and healthy. Have not awarded any Chinese Government or GDUT scholarship.

三、奖学金种类和标准 Scholarship Types

（一）在读国际学生 For Current International Students

本科生：人民币10000元/人。

硕士生：人民币20000元/人。

博士生：人民币30000元/人。

Bachelor Degree Student: RMB10000/person.

Master Degree Student: RMB20000/person.

Doctoral Degree Student: RMB30000/person.

（二）新招收国际学生 For New International Students (Batch 2020)

本科生：人民币10000元/人。

硕士生：人民币20000元/人。

博士生：人民币30000元/人。

Bachelor Degree Student: RMB10000/person.

Master Degree Student: RMB20000/person.

Doctoral Degree Student: RMB30000/person.

四、申请材料及程序 Application Procedure

（一）申请材料 Documents Requirement

1、在读国际学生

① 下载并填写附件1申请表；

② 2019-2020学年成绩单（必须为学校教务处或研究生院打印盖章版）；

③ 护照及签证有效页复印件；

④ 个人陈述，约300-500字。

For Current International Students:

①Download and fill in the application form (Annex 1).

②Transcript of 2019-2020 Academic Year (Original document from Academic Programs Division or Graduate School of GDUT with official stamp.

③ Valid Passport and Visa copies.

④Personal Statement.300-500 words with 3-5 photos.

2、新招收国际学生

① 下载并填写附件2申请表；

② 护照及签证有效页复印件；

③ 申请来粤接受本科学历教育，提供所毕业高级中学的校长和一名教师的推荐信；攻读硕士、博士学位者提交至少两名教授或副教授的推荐信等。

④个人自述，约300-500字。

For New International Students:

① Download and fill in the application form (Annex 2).

② Valid Passport and Visa copies.

③ Principal and a teacher's Recommendation Letters should be provided if applying for Undergraduate Programs; At least two professors' Recommendation Letters should be provided if applying for Master or Doctor Degree study.

④ Personal statement. 300-500 words with 3-5 photos.

（二）2020年7月20日（星期一）下午14:00之前将电子版申请表（需贴上电子照片）和扫描材料邮件发送至ivy_59@qq.com。逾期提交或提交资料不全者视为自动放弃申请资格。

Application Deadline: 2:00pm, July 20, 2020（Monday）

Identification electronic photo is required to be pasted in the electronic form. Overdue application will not be accepted.

（三）学校将成立来粤留学生奖学金评审小组对申请资料进行评审。候选人名单将在官方网站公示五日。

Evaluations will be made by the Guangdong Government Outstanding Student Scholarship Assessment Committee of GDUT and the candidates will be notified on our official website.

（四）候选人名单报广东省教育厅。

Approval by Department of Education of Guangdong Province.

（五）公布获得奖学金国际学生名单。

International Education Center announces the list of international students winning the scholarship.
